A bridge club is an unex­pected place to host art exhi­bi­tions. Bridge Club of Center City is not the typ­i­cal bridge club — the com­mu­nity reflects the sophis­ti­cated cul­ture of Rittenhouse Square. David Rose works to cre­ate an atmos­phere that sup­ports the quiet focus and con­tem­pla­tion that com­pet­i­tive bridge requires.

Because the club includes so many art col­lec­tors and enthu­si­asts of all ages, David Rose approached Heavy Bubble with the idea of dis­play­ing fine art. Heavy Bubble was excited about the centally-located 2000 square feet of exhibit space, with plenty of wall space and an appre­cia­tive audi­ence. Thus the suc­cess­ful col­lab­o­ra­tion of ART @t Bridge Club of Center City was born.

The gallery spe­cial­izes in unique con­tem­po­rary paint­ings and works on paper by emerg­ing and estab­lished artists that reside in Philadelphia.
